CUTROPIA is a stealth-mode venture dedicated to pioneering novel approaches to critical skin health challenges. Our ambition is to advance scientific innovation while driving sustainable entrepreneurial value across the broader field of Dermatology. Our model is built on two complementary pillars:
Whether addressing capital-intensive innovations or products with accelerated go-to-market routes, our strategy is designed to cover the early-stage pipeline; from evidence-based ideation and conceptualisation grounded in real-world needs and practices, to initial commercialisation. Our primary focus is on pre-licensing IP generation and protection, advancing assets to a maturity level suitable for licensing or strategic acquisition. Our activities span across non-prescription therapeutics, medical devices - including novel diagnostic approaches and modalities - as well as medical education tools.

MD, MPhil (Cantab, MBE), PhD
Emmanouil Chousakos is a physician, entrepreneur, and medical advisor with top-tier training in Dermatology and extensive experience consulting interdisciplinary teams. His expertise focuses on skin cancer diagnostics and aesthetic/regenerative medicine, with particular emphasis on the integration, optimisation, and scaling of novel skin imaging technologies and AI applications in these fields. He is also actively involved in ecosystem-building initiatives that foster innovation in healthcare and life sciences. He holds an MD and a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as an MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge. He has completed fellowships in the departments of Dermatology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, and the University of Turin.
